Neal, I don’t believe you know me. I am a school principal and serve on the board of directors at ACCESS. I am also Siham Jaafar’s sister. Anyway, I want to wish you good luck on your film. I am proud of your mission and know you will realize success. Thank you for pursuing this worthy endeavor. God

Neal,
My name is Lara Salahi, an 18-year old Syrian Muslim. I was raised in Rochester Hills, MI but frequented Dearborn my whole life. Currently I am a sophomore attending Boston University and am majoring in Broadcast Journalism. However, I constantly travel between Boston and Detroit.
I heard about your movie "the Arab American Dream" through many articles in Arab newsletters. I am very enthusiastic about this movie and would like an opportunity to assist you in the production of the movie, whether on-screen or off. I do not know if you have started filming but I am willing to audition as a documentary "voice" or even assistance in production labor. Please contact me.
I would also like to know if "the Arab American Dream" will be released nationwide or just in the Greater Detroit area?? I would love to have it presented in Boston, and if possible, on Boston University's campus.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely
Lara Salahi

Dear Neal,
Thank you for sharing your experiences with me and the group from Wayne State University June 18 at Samir Olabi’s home. Your words at the school board meeting were clear, factual and decisive. Your strength, courage and determination are evident in your being. These are characteristics possessed by those who make change.
I truly appreciate the opportunity to learn more about the Arab American culture and I look forward to the day when similar interactions between our two cultures will become a normal occasion and not a special event.
Sincerely,
Sandra Clemons

Mr. Abu Nab,
I read the article about the movie in the Forum and Link. I am
currently a third year medical student at Wayne State University. I am
so proud of your efforts, and this is exactly what we need. Though I
cannot support you financially at the current time, it would be my
pleasure to assist in any way by writing for your production. Please
let me know if this would be of any use to you. If not, I still wish
you all the best and I will get as many people as you can to see the
movie next year. All the best.
Sincerely,
Samer Muala

Neal,
this is a wonderful article. What a fantastic way to showcase the
successes that the Arab American community realizes rather than the daily
plight being accentuated and exploited. I believe in your dream and I
know that you will make it come true. I wish you the best of luck and I
know that success is in your grasp and I also know that this film will be a
source of pride to all Arab Americans but especially to our Dearborn Family.
All
my best,
Siham
